I'm lagged
16 May 2004  00:23
GTM

I haven't posted anything for a while. Last week I've been in Motreal(Canada). I've been able to enjoy the beauty of 12h time shift plus two 40h trips in less than a week. Because of that I've been heavily jet-lagged in the past days. If you haven't received an answer to you emails yet you will soon.

Nutella is celebrating its 40 years. In Turin, my home town and nutella's home as well, a huge "nutella party" is taking place lol...and I'm missing it. (BTW if you are not living on this planet, nutella is a very famous nut cream, almost an institution for italy and many other conutries). Nutella rocks.

Microsoft Visual C++ Toolkit 2003
18 Apr 2004  19:38
GTM

Microsoft just released is C++ compiler for free. Looks like is the same compiler included in VS.NET, so is pretty damn good. I must admit I din't expect that, but if you think, they give away the C# compiler for free and this C++ compiler is probably the only tool that can produce managed C++ that I'm aware of. It make sense. Still without VS is just a very good C++ compiler, good for people that develop multiplatform apps for sure.

XFS a file system for the GBA
17 Apr 2004  23:04
GTM

I've released a simple utility I wrote in a couple of hours to have a file system on the GBA. The code you have to link is very small and works quite well(both emulated and on real HW). If you develop for the GBA check the projects section.
